Theodosius Cistern is in the historical center of Istanbul, but very few people visit it.⁣
⁣
The Basilica Cistern, on the other hand is way more famous and crowded. I would definitely recommend to visit Theodosius cistern, you would be one of the few people that have seen it!⁣

This cistern was built in the 6th century, but was discovered by accident in 2010. It opened for tourists only in April 2018!⁣

La Cisterna Theodosius se encuentra en el centro histórico de Estambul, pero muy poca gente la visita.⁣
⁣
La Cisterna Basílica, por otro lado, es mucho más famosa y concurrida. Definitivamente recomiendo visitar la cisterna de Theodosius, ¡serías una de las pocas personas que la haya visto!⁣
👀⁣
Esta cisterna fue construida en el siglo VI, pero fue descubierta por accidente en el 2010. Se abrió para turistas recién en abril del 2018!⁣

I know it depends a lot on where you are right now, but I already see a lot of people doing domestic travel in many countries... And lots of Karens shaming everyone who dares to take a road trip 😂.

I find it very difficult to plan for the next 2 months even if the borders are open... for now, who knows in a month or two? 🤷.

Sé que depende mucho de dónde te encuentres en este momento, pero ya veo a muchas personas haciendo viajes nacionales en muchos países... Y muchas Karens criticando a todo el que se atreva a hacer un road trip 😂.

Me resulta muy difícil planificar para los próximos 2 meses, incluso si las fronteras están abiertas... por ahora, ¿quién sabe en un mes o dos? 🤷.

1. Use apps like @spotr and @photomapper to discover nice places 😃. You can find some new hidden gems in there.

2. Go to @pinterest and search for "instagrammable spots in ______". The results are usually better than Google.⁣

3. Join photography communities like @500px and follow photographers near you.⁣
⁣

PS: these photos are from one day walking with my mom. We came across this artsy spot and I asked her for a photo. So she started shooting and then this guy (second pic) stopped next to me and started spitting with ALL the sound effects clearing his throat (hence my face 😂). Obviously he couldn't care less about my pics 😂 My mom didn't see him and was like "Yasss, love this place, now smile, look that way.." I was like wtf mom stop 😂😭. ⁣The tools above may help but can't promise people around you will care 😜.

PD: estas fotos son de un día caminando con mi mamá. Pasamos por este lugar artístico y le pedí una foto. Entonces comenzó a tomar fotos y este chico (segunda foto) se detuvo justo a mi lado y comenzó a escupir con TODOS los efectos de sonido (x eso mi cara). No podía importarle menos mis fotos obvio 😂 Mi mamá no lo vio y estaba como "Wuuu, me encanta, ahora sonríe, mira hacia allá...". Yo estaba como wtf mamá, para 😂😭. Las herramientas arriba te ayudan pero no prometo q a la gente alrededor tuyo le importe 😜.
